From Norwegian newspaper today Her snurrer passasjerflyet på glattisen - VG Nett (http://www.vg.no/nyheter/innenriks/artikkel.php?artid=10030013)

Would it not have been better to music? Obviously 'The Skaters' Waltz'?

I hope the bit we did not see was not the fast-moving tug sliding into the wing...........I think if I were a tuggie going to a pirouetting 737 I might proceed a little cautiously? All very stylishly handled, however.

The field maint. department at Bodø Main Air Station/ENBO are probably doing some debriefing this evening......

Love the gritter that enters the picture right at the end.....horse/stable door comes to mind! ;)

(It was raining on frozen ground up there today, as well as a fair bit of wind)

so is that what the SAS guys do for kicks.. donuts in the car park ! :\

That's a neat trick I'm not even sure could be done in a simulator :E:D

Bet they were glad there was no ground equipment close to the extremities at the time, at least there was no damage to anything other than their pride;)

I don't understand, I'd be quietly proud of 'drifting' a 737! :ok:

Its just the same for all those Scandanavian rally drivers. They were all in their 'teens before they learned that a car can also be driven in a straight line. I think it is something in their genes that they are happier in a power slide. :}

Well if you live up here you have to drive around at a skid pad before you can get your drivers license (I can tell you that is probably the funniest part of all the drivers training).

Perhaps we should start with something similar for pilots, this captain could be the first instructor :D

Rumous has that the producers behind the Too fast too furious series are already in touch with the pilots about a possible new film ;)

You're all wrong, it is a strategic parking. SAS need to cut the costs, and this eliminates the need for pushback. :cool:

Geez, if they could do 180's like that in the air, my life would be so much easier!

Music: The Blue Danube from "2001: A Space Odyssey" springs to mind.
