Hey everyone. Supposedly the price of gas is going to rise to over $3/gallon this summer (at least in California). Is this going to affect how much flight training is going to cost?!? I want to get my private over the summer and I'm pusing it in terms of cash as it is...

US$3 a gallon? Luxury. AVGAS is over US$5 a gallon here!

Most of us are in the UK. Your fuel prices are a wet dream to us!
You all earn more and pay less, so why grumble?

Scabair charged their long course cadets nearly £800 each for unexcepted fuel price rises last year.
They charged PPL school students an extra £4 an hour extra for the same reason (singles).
