Tyre burst is correct. I was driving past Northolt on Sunday and it had been towed off onto the taxiway with a burst tyre on the right undercarriage; didn't see any other damage.

How are you sure it wasnt a rejected T/O resulting in a burst tyre?

Who said they were sure that it wasn't a rejected take-off? Why do you feel it necessary to build a mountain out of a molehill?

Why do you feel it necessary to build a mountain out of a molehill? :ugh:

BillieBob, Perhaps I didnt articulate myself as well as I could have done, sorry you took such an offense to what was intended as an innocuous question - I was hoping to open the debate up. Its quite a short runway at Northolt and if they were using 25 the toda is 5580' with a downslope and a fence/highway at the end.

Did you have any relevant input that you wanted to make? :ok:
