Know its bad form to publicise magazines etc but this magazine in its March edition has a feature on walking routes which take in aircraft crash sites dating to WW2 for those who like to take to the hills and take in some history as well.

Rumour is that trail magazine has an interesting article on walking to historic military crash sites. This may, or may not, interest military aircrew.
