i am presently flying B 737-200 and earlier also flown some aircraft with EFIS and glass cockpit although could not pile up many hours on them.
One thing i do not understand is why do the airlines make such a fuss about having glass cockpit hours? From my experience i can say with certainty that if you can operate a trimble gps, you can operate any fms.
Apart from that glass cockpit is easier as it gives you all the information in one place whereas in conventional you have to look at all the places to get the required information. It is like asking someone who can operate DOS if he can operate the windows.
Any ideas any one?
