Hallo everybody,

during phone request with interpersonal (career.aero) they told me that pilot job applications with “secondary modern school” (or “junior high school”, in German “Realschule”) combined with professional education and relevant professional experience (not as pilot) will have more attention by some airlines if it is official certificated by a government agency.

After a lot of phone calls and email inquiries no public authority in Germany (and also nobody at interpersonal) can tell me the name of this document, certificate or whatever it may be.

Is there anybody who has the same occupational history, written application at interpersonal with knowledge of the German title of this obscure document?

In advance, thank you for anwers.

Looks like you´re talking about the old´german "myth", that says "get a Junior Degree AND an apprenticeship=that equals the Matura/Abitur"....

In fact, this is not true...
What it is all about (as far as i understand it), is that when you have both, you CAN go to university and get a degree (in special subjects AND only in some countries).

For that, you should contact the "Bildungsministerium" (Ministry of Education) in your german country-they should be able to give you a letter of qualification.
Then you only need to have this translated into english-et voilá!

I had exactly the same problem. My result was: In Bavaria it's not possible to do..
But I suppose in other federal states it should be possible..
