If so what experience have you had with them, and their training?

Their prices seem pretty competitive, any information?

It's very late, but are my eye's playing funny games on me?

Volatus Aviation Training Ltd. is www.typerating.no (http://www.typerating.no/Volatus/Volatus_Aviation_Training.html)

Is this an A320 with 737NG winglets?

According to their website, this is their rather uninspiring office :-

6 Cemetery Road Porth, Mid Glamorgan, CF39 0BL - Google Maps (http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=+6+Cemetery+Road+Porth,+Mid+Glamorgan,+CF39+0BL&aq=&sll=51.627145,-3.387445&sspn=0.451827,1.40625&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=6+Cemetery+Rd,+Porth,+Mid+Glamorgan+CF39+0LG,+United+K ingdom&ll=51.615163,-3.412273&spn=0.001779,0.005493&t=h&z=18&layer=c&cbll=51.615163,-3.412273&panoid=Zn4C4r24vshJqcKwwHVx8g&cbp=12,180.48,,0,5.92)

Seems to be a rather strange and off the beaten track location for the type of services they are offering !!.

Oh and VJW, have a look at this :-

lol guys, thanks for the lovely links to 320's with large winglets. My reason for not knowing they 'could' come like that is I've never seen one.

None of the links provided show an airliners paint job on it- anyone know of any european operator with this add on? Sorry for thread drift!

Hi, I'm also looking for informations about the TRTO and their type ratings. They indeed have good prices, but are they trustworthy?

I have understood now, they are recommended by Eagle Jet. One of their TR partners, I believe.

and you think an airline will hire you with 200h tt, 320 rating done in a unknown TRTO with substandard training and special SOP done by mr randhem?

it stinks!!!

It is a part of the Eagle Jet program, so you probably have 500 hours to 1500 hours, and assume they at least use Boeings SOP's in the worst case scenario!

Yes I know I could have a job after such a program, but I am not able to go away for 18 months in one stretch. If you pay your own TR, you will have to do P2F at some stage to, if you want to get any use of the rating to get work!

It seems to be one way in, and for modular guys, it is still cheaper then the integrated courses doing it this way.

I would call it career planning.
