Could someone kindly recommend a good spam detector for use with Google Chrome, please? The main OS is Windows 7.

FWIW, I have looked through the software recommended in the FAQ but - with respect - that list is nearly six years old!

Thanks in advance for your responses.

Could you explain a bit more what you're trying to do please?

A "spam detector" is something that applies to email clients. As far as I know (I've not tried it) "Google Chrome" is a browser. It's not clear to me why you would think the two have any connection with each other.

First thing to do is to use OpenDNS DNS servers in your router.

This may be beyond you, due to the above schoolboy error, and if so please shout what make and model router you're using and i'm sure some kind soul here will give you step by step instructions.

If it's not beyond you, check it out for yourself: OpenDNS | Internet Navigation And Security (http://www.opendns.org)

Cheers,
Mike.
