Is there any more info about Lynn Tilton acquiring Robinson Helicopters?

Sure. I hear the first new model is going to be the MD-22, featuring a teetering rotor system, and a star-shaped T-bar cyclic with 5 grips.

5 GRIPS??? WOW! in this way you can teach 4 students at the same time!!

That's even better than the Sweizer 333 with 3 I said 3!! sets of controls!!

Let me check the date, is it the start of April?

What makes you think Frank would sell?

Actually, and acquisition of MD by Robinson (instead of the reverse) might make business sense. Would give Robinson an entry into the market for real helicopters. :E

Or is it something to do with an awards ceremony ;)

There see what you have done, no one got annoyed tearing LT to bits, then you went and suggested the imposable,:E & I don't mean MD buying Robinson

Let me just say that I am not a Robbie fan despite being qualified in the R22 & R44. These are minimalist designs which optimise for low initial cost/price and as such incorporate many tradeoffs in the interest of "cheap" that I find most unattractive. Of course, many others here have a different point of view and I am OK with that.
