Hi,

Could someone tell me what are the JAA IFR take off minima (or minimums ?) for a single engine aircraft such as a Cessna 172, pilot with a PPL IR, or a CPL IR ME licence. My question is for a non public transport flight and non commercial aviation.

I've tried to find a clear answer online looking in the spanish AIP, Google,... however the information is not so clear and a bit confusing.

And what about landing minima ? (Vis, RVR, ceiling ?).

Thank you very much.

Emmanuel.

Assuming the person asking has an IR then presumably the person should know the answer already.

If we are talking however of UK airspace then all the relevant answers can be found within the UK AIP(aerodromes). As you'll find, it depends on aircarft registry, private ops/commercial ops etc.

Well thanks I'll go and have a look at the UK AIP online.

(BTW, the person asking owns PPL licence).
