Hello to all.

I'm off down to Oz in a couple of months in a privately owned Falcon. I'm trying to gather as much info on the rules and regulations of operating in and out of Australia. As you people know trawling through the CASA & TSP websites for useful info is like looking for a needle in a haystack!
If any of you have some advice or can point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated.
K.H.

dont worry too much. It is pretty easy

check out the AIP's for rules ad regulations. also the ERSA has airport information Airservices Australia - Aeronautical Information Package (AIP) (http://www.airservices.gov.au/publications/aip.asp?pg=10)

Sign up here and you can get your weather free and submit flight plans
Airservices Australia - Flight Briefing - Pilot Briefing Services (http://www.airservicesaustralia.com/brief/)

also phone number for briefing service is +61 7 3866 3517 (very helpful people) and this is the free number

Only need FBO at Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth

TSP= dont worry too much just lock the aeroplane

CASA Civil Aviation Safety Authority - Home (http://www.casa.gov.au) you want to check out CAO's ad CAR's if you really want to... these guys are the mot un helpfull government dept. the have perfected red tape... lucky you dont need to deal with them
