Does anyone have recent experience of the above package and what further costs can be expected beyond the headline deal of £16605 (apart from CAA test fees)?

Thanks - that thread doesn't include any costs, though there is an earlier one that mentions approach fees which aren't included amounting to £1500, but then that must be similar everywhere and there is less positioning due to being based at Cranfield. I'm reckoning £18k + test fees which is still reasonable?

I think I worked out with caa fees, aircraft hire for tests etc,a bare min hours your looking at 21-22k at the least.

Also factor in instructor with cost , Adam Sinfield is an excellent instructor who's high standards have improved my flying ten fold , its not just about cost to be fair.
