Sundays cabin crew recruitment day had "around 1000" applicants turn up. Last time it was 2500 wasn't it?
So a 60% decrease in the number of applicants.
Kind of like the 1 who said yes to the latest cockpit crew course out of the 60 positions offered.
Sounds to me like the word is out, worked to the bone with below industry pay............................... Living the dream :ok:

It's more fun living in a dungeon with Joseph Fritzel than working with these guys .....

Good to see you back Capt T. Missed the humor.
I know the real Capt T.P is glad this festive season thing is over. It is depressing when everyone is with loved ones and you have to pay high season rates in Wan Chai.

err.. CX only had 1000 recruitment slots for that day... so the slots are actually 100% filled with people that started lining up in front of CX city at 3 am.:yuk:

1 to 60 (or 75 depends who you talk to) is equivalent to 1000 to 2500. Sheesh with logic like that you should be a politician, or maybe you are my financial adviser lol. From the point of view of the recruiters they got exactly what they wanted this time, unlike their foolish foray in to the SO world.

They've done studies, you know. 60% of the time it works, every time.

New paragraph old son, new idea. I wasn't suggesting it was the same percentage.
Maybe I should become your accountant, you're too easy to baffle with a simple idea.....

The exact words if I recall were "about 1000" - is that more or less than 1000?

Having seen the queue on that cold morning, by 8.30 only about 150-200 had turned up.

Excuse me whilst I go and concoct some more figures for the CX mind-machine.......
