To get recruited into an indian domestic carrier as a FO , is " Fluency in hindi" a requirement ?

did you also happen to miss the reports that marathi is being considered for on board announcements for operations in Maharashtra?

Not every Indian speaks Hindi.....but every pilots must speak English

well said vserian ! though i can understand pretty much but fluency is a major roadblock anyways good to know that its not an requirement .

@pri : it wud'nt be a surprise if MNS want only marathi pilots to fly the mumbai sector ! ;)
