Hi guys,

I've tried to ask this question in Flying Instructors/Examiners, however as I did not get any answer there, I think this one is more suitable for airline pilots doing some free-lancing on the side:

Anyone can give me an idea about what do you charge per groundschool / sim session as a freelance SFI or MCCI?

It would help if you specify type and country.

Thanks

Central Europe: around 400-600 Euros, depending on your type of contract.
If you have your own company and advertise your services, the pay is usually higher as you have to pay for your insurances, tax and all the rest. If you are hired as freelance and the company provides all the above, its usually at the lower end.

Ground School / SIM is about the same...or should be the same.

Many thanks for your answer!

I assume we are talking a standard 4 hours session including the briefing/de-briefing?

Yep, correct. Good luck!
