Optimum Time of Year to Qualify - Autumn??

I'm just trying to plan out my year and completion of training. Does it make any sense at all to try and complete training during the autumn on the assumption that most recruitment is generally late in the year? Is there any merit in this thinking or is there no logic to timing of any recruitment campaigns?

No problem and understood as it's a bit of a soft question in the current circumstances. However, I'd appreciate knowing if I'm not ready for next autumn have I effectively blown it for the year.
