Prestwick is currently on the market. I am sure you could buy it easily for 60m as it make a big loss every year

'Have you any more details about price of London Stansted etc.'.

Not into finance or commerce in anyway, and just a punt...........

USD60M will fall (somewhat) short of the asking price for STN/EGSS/London Stansted..... For all the travel problems to/from it, it is London's number 3.

Like I said, just a punt, and ducks for inbound flack, but nearer USD1Bn? or over?

Gatwick was a forced sale and sold for a minimum price of GB Pounds 1.51 billion, so I would guess that Stansted (also a forced sale) would go in the range of GBP 1-1.7 bn. Gatwick's new owners are selling off shares without floating the company.

Perhaps Magix would consider being a shareholder in Gatwick, Stansted or Glasgow, assuming that they follow the same model. Or buying shares in a publicly quoted airports company.

Maximum 60M USD. Classic :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

That is equal to the interest you pay on 1 billion every year

Answer=42 you are very right about shareholding :) By the way this 60M USD is very flexible for much more money:)

Let me see: there is a guy with 60+ million in his bank who asks a newly graduated cpl to "go out and buy an airport" without having a clue. And this new investors friend does his research on Pprune :ugh:

Sorry this is too funny :E

Keep us posted Magic man!

The background of posters is important as well. Thankfully one can check a posters previous efforts by clicking on his screen name in the left hand column before taking threads like this too seriously. ;)
