The Sydney Morning Herald is reporting that Qantas are restarting their flights to LA from Jan 17 -
Qantas gets ready to put A380s back on US route (http://www.smh.com.au/business/qantas-gets-ready-to-put-a380s-back-on-us-route-20101230-19b3z.html)
Does anyone know what has changed to allow this to happen ? The SMH article mentions something about changes in the AD's covering the engines, but I can't find any information about any changes. Have some mods been made to the engines ? Are RR satisfied that the IPT failure out of Singapore was a one-off ?
