Hello to all PF and PNF yet....

Im sure many folks have same situation as mine, Have great desire to fly in India, Since Im a Indian citizen, currently working as FO. I have 1200hrs of turbine and around 1000hrs multi, wondering what are the chances for me to get a job in India, and i do understand i have to convert my FAA Lic to DGCA,if im able to do it, unless there is some another way to get a job,anyone have any suggestion,will appreciate...

yeah sure...come back...convert ur licence..but you could play safe if you get endorsed on boeing or ATR

Stop encouraging bad habits. := Leave it up to the airlines to Type Rate you.

If an airline Type Rates you then bonds you, I think that is a fair deal.

Stay there get your ATPL then convert it, as far as type rating goes,
see if u get typed on a 737, u can then only apply for 737 jobs (of course unless u have tons of money get another type), so keep your options open first the job then the rating.

I wont be paying for type and standing behind the line in front of airline door n begging for jobs,not me pal.
