Jet makes emergency landing after dog bites - Travel - News - msnbc.com (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/40532237/ns/travel-news/)

The article says " The dog bit a passenger who had tried to calm it and then broke out of its cage, officials said ".

So did the passenger tried to put his hand inside the cage / carrier and try to calm it or pet it, before it broke out:confused:
