OK, probably next question is stupid, but,
is there some kind of maximum distance between waypoints in a flight plan? I don't mean ETOPS flights or anything like that, just a general requirement for general IFR flight plan.
I'm writing a little piece of software that tries to determine what is the planes' next waypoint based on it's heading, but it helps to limit number of waypoints based on their distance. So far I've tried values of 500-1000km, but is there generic regulatory requirement?
