Goodmorning,

I'm searching a flight school in Europe that make the TR on the Piper Meridian (cheapest if possible).
Any information?

Is possible to make the TR directly on the aircraft, such as, for example, Pilatus Porter PC6?

Thanks a lot!

Since the Meridian is basically a Malibu with turbine (and the Malibu being, as far as some CAA's are concerned, stuck with a pretty bad rep) I'd start with checking with your own CAA as they should have a list of training providers. Since the Malibu doesn't (not in Sweden anyway) qualify as a SEP when it comes to being allowed to fly all SEP's if you're current on one, maybe all you need is a difference training and checkride assuming that you're already "rated" on the Malibu.

I know that LidAir in Sweden, Stockholm, has an instructor that used to fly the Meridian. Perhaps you can contact them and ask if he can help you.

I'll try to contact them, thank you.

I also know that if I have a FAA licence the TR is not mandatory, I need only the HPA.

In the case of FAA certification, it's not a matter of being mandatory; a type rating isn't available for the Meridian/Malibu.

Tyr Air Alpha at Odense in Denmark. They did my JAA PA46T a few years ago.

The Pilatus Centre, Bournemouth, also offers PA46 type ratings.
