Looking at this graph in the latest flight safety mag (Nov-Dec 2010 - Issue 77) drew my attention to the data relationship before 2003 and 2003 onwards. Basically, prior to the Transport Safety Investigation Act 2003, the graph suggests the more hours flown p.a. less accidents occurred. After 2003 the two data fields mimic each other's movement suggesting the more hours flown the more accidents occurred.
If you look at the High Capacity RPT it also suggests a change from 2003 onwards.
The absence of a Low Capacity RPT graph has been noted.Has there been a change in criteria upon which these statistics are based from 2003 onwards? (IRM RRM)
