No more apple discount for CX?

Cannot find the link to the apple corporate discount website under staff offers.
Any hints on where to go now for discounted apple stuff?

call the apple store in the airport, they used to do discounts, was almost as good as online, less than HK$100 in it for a macbook pro at 9000. Think it was 10% off.

If you shop around you will get a price similar to or the same of that you can get via the cx discount.

Just try at 1st floor, Chung King Mansion, TST. There are plenty of phone warehouses there. They are selling both 'China Made' and original Iphone - all models .......... you need to bargain hard though ......:ok:

I bought a few phones before (not Iphone) and don't have any problem so far .......:ok:

Try dg lifestyle store in terminal 2, they are an authorised apple reseller.
They sell unlocked fones outright.

Ring the 800 number found on the CX staff offers site. You will speak to someone in Singapore (toll free).

You will be quoted the Apple shop price and then the discounted CX price. You will have to provide your CX email (ie [email protected]) All shipping advice comes to this email address in groupwise.

What used to take 5 minutes online now takes about 20 if you need engraving etc. I guess the main thing is that the small discount still exists. I spoke with a supervisor at the phone ordering site and said it was a retrograde step. He welcomed my feedback :ugh:

Rang Benefits yesterday, off at the moment. Communication sent to Apple but the 'man what does' is on holiday so CX awaiting reply.
If in a hurry use the airport shop, confirmed as 5% on cash purchase!

So we're still eligible for discount through the corporate program via phone order, but does anyone have the phone number to dial if you want to place an order in Hong Kong from overseas? I want to order some stuff to collect next trip to HKG but the 800 number obviously doesn't work from here. Anyone have an alternative number?? Why have they removed the online ordering option?!! :ugh:

Thank you for the info about the different options. I am looking for a new laptop myself.

I called the Apple store hotline, 800-908-988, from my HK phone. Got me through to an apple rep. No discount on Macbook Air and Iphone4. 6% discount on Macbook Pros and Ipod Nano. 2%discount on Ipad. We are limited to buying 3 units of the computer (IMac, Macbook, etc), and limted to 10 units of Ipod. Shipping is via TNT, shipped in 1-3 business day and it will take another few days. They quoted if I order today (Dec13) I will get it Dec16-22.

I also called the DG Lifestyle store in HKG T2 (2769-1288). No discount on Macbook Air, Iphone 4, or Ipad. There is a 5% discount on Macbook Pros if you are airport staff and if you pay with cash. They are out of stock with the model I want (13'' 2.4Ghz) however they can restock from other branches in 3-4 business days.

Last week I used the phone number published in Staff Offers to purchase some iPods, with discount.
They set up an apple ID with your work email address for you and then all of the order confirmation/delivery/receipt info is done to your work email address. Payment is by CCard over phone.
