Sadly this thread does not herald a new XworX project but a study from 17 years ago, that I assume was dropped in the Agusta-Bell teaming on the 139.
Anyone got a picture?
From Janes:
Bell 442 (United States), Helicopters under development/research - Rotary-wing - Civil
Type
Twinturboshaft mediumweight helicopter.
Programme
In design definition stage from spring 1993; same weight class as Bell 412; four-blade main rotor; powered by two HTEC CTS800 or MTU/Turbomeca/Rolls-Royce MTR 390 turboshafts; hydraulically retractable tricycle landing gear. Was intended as Bell 412 successor, but now succeeded by upgrade Model 412+ programme.
