I have just now spoken to Major Tom in extreme confindence and been assured the danger has passed. The good chap is not sure what the problem was but after repeating the word "check" several several times repeatedly, the tin can recovered while begging him to stop saying "check" and is now returning to high altitude. It appears now that the word check is not the worthless word to say as it really is most of the time!

It looks like all but one person had a lucky escape from the predicted “9/11” crash, but after all it might have been for the best, as the poor guy was on life support anyway.
