Anyone currently flying 747s for Evergreen that can give me an idea of what life is like working for them? Does the company do what they say they will? How are the accommodations, training, schedules, etc?

Their helicopter arm are and industry laugthing stock and Boeing took the Dreamlifter contract off them. They do seem to be 'in' with the DoD.

Yes we do alot of DOD flying and we also fly out of HKG and PVG to the states. A new ACMI contract should be starting soon..Dreamlifter was given to Atlas other than that not much else to report..

worse pay in the industry, but they have a pretty good QOL. max 18 day schedule. biz class travel . 18hr max duty day(ext to 21) but the pay sucks.
base pay 39k ur first year. great group of fellows to fly with sept the 10%'ers.
but all in all a good job. but the dude who runs the place is old and when he crooks who knows what will happen. more than likely his cronies will chop the place up to the highest bidders. if i could have made some $ there i would have liked to stay until i retired. but no money for me ment i had to leave. and the only way to make money @ evergreen is to upgrade to capt and then whore your self out on overtime. and ther are not any upgrades happening ther since the geezers get to hang on for another five years. No offense geezers not your fault its just the way it is.

FAX a resume. -200's are leaving with -400's replacing them. So better have a back up plan in about five years if you want to be a PFE.

Is faxing somehow preferable to email?

I emailed a week or so ago, but will gladly fax one as well if it will help.

Whatever it takes to get noticed. I'm not above "sexting" either...

fax ur resume to evergreen quick so you can get furloughed! well to late to get hired and furloughed this year. but u can still get hired and be the lowest paid 747 drivers in the world! the old man can pay his bills last minute but he aint going to shell out any $ to keep his crews happy. self deprivation is a way of life for the senior peeps @ EZ

I was hoping someone could let me know what the flight schedule is like at Evergreen -- I would love to fly for them ... but I haven't been able to find out how long you are normally away from home at a time. Can anyone fill me in?
