Hello,
I'm looking for a good and efficient place to convert a non-JAA (here:
FAA) Flight Instructor Airplane to a JAR/FCL FI(A) based on LASOR H1.6
in the U.K. ...
Can anyone recommend a school/FTO which can offer a decent priced
conversion course?
Thx, JOERG

I think you are referring to LASORS H1.10. There is no "conversion course"; you are required to complete a FI Course as detailed in JAR-FCL 1.340, which may be reduced to a minimum of 15 hours flight training and 30 hours ground training subject to progress and achieving the required standard.

Yes.

15 hrs flying

30 hrs ground

Skill test

that's the gig ...

Gruss dich Joerg!

I would check out with FlyAAA in San Diego aera. I did my UK JAR FCL PPL there and they did a great job.
You should contact martin at the school.

I don't think Anglo can do JAA FI courses, I may be wrong. They can do FAA CFI which, if I'm reading the OP correctly is what he already has.

If you're stuck, try The Pilot Centre - Denham Aerodrome (http://www.thepilotcentre.co.uk/) who would be able to help, I'm sure. Or pm me.

Give On-Track Aviation a call or email. They do plenty of these conversion courses and will advise you on how best to proceed.
