Need accommodation help, ASAP!!

Hi all,

Finally got my exam confirmation for only to realize its for my second option. I've been calling everywhere in Biggleswade and around Shuttleworth college to find accommodation but to no avail!!:ugh: Would anyone by any chance know anywhere i might be able to find a place for a few days........yes i've called the college and they are fully booked!!

In the mean time I'm still at it....

Theres a Travelodge on the A1 not far from the college, it used to be £19 a night if you booked far enough in advance.

I suppose you've tried The Hare and Hounds? I used to live near Old Warden and there's no shortage of B&Bs in the surrounding villages; Ickwell, Upper Caldecote, Shefford, Sandy if you have to. :}

Are you restricted by not having a car? Or low budget?

Thanks a million for the advise. I've already started my search. I'm restricted by car and so anything close enough to transportation routes or not too costly by taxi.

I (regrettably) live in Biggleswade, and from what I gather, the Stratton House Hotel is the best place to stay:

Looking at their availability calendar, it seems they are available throughout - when are the exams? ... we could also catch up for a beer when you're in town (fellow wannabe).

Look for Anne Franklin at Manor Farm , she is appx 1.5 miles away from Shuttleworth. B&B £30 p/n in your own private block with en suite full sized bathroom and kitchen. I stayed 3 times , great everytime.
