But if you never never go, you'll never never know. Pack bags, set heading in your car somewhere between 315 and 045 and drive for the best part of a week. Yeah, people have gotten jobs by sending a resume by e-mail in response to a job ad on the internet, but you'll massively improve your chances if the resume is on paper, in person, and followed by a handshake with the chief pilot / ops manager.

In addition to AAA try Gunbalunya and Kakadu Air, all three are in or around Kakadu and are pretty busy during the wet as the roads to Oenpelli get cut.

I concur. I the old days, I never hired anyone that sent or emailed CVs.
The Pilots that presented themselves and showed initiative always got the job.
