During the Chilean miners rescue the President took a phone call from Call Me Dave and said he will be meeting him for a cup of tea in Downing Street next Monday. Anybody know when he is due to arrive in the UK and if he will be flying in on anything interesting.

Possibly the Chilean Air Force 767 300 which is the official Presidential plane? The Chilean Air Force colour scheme is unusual to see in the UK.

He came into Heathrow in Boeing 767 FAC985 which is on the front of cargo "somewhere".

Update: Saw it OK on the east end of the cargo area from the southern perimeter road around midday. It's out in the open, not down a cul-de-sac.

Supposed to be departing "tomorrow", i.e. Tuesday but I do not know what time.

Good luck..

It's due out 14.15 Tuesday for Paris. B777 A7-BAB might be on a first visit around that time too.

Thanks again for the info HD, looks like they are using 27L for departures so I will go down to the nature reserve in Stanwell . I have managed to take some decent shots from there before.

Sorry HD it went out on 27R . I do not know a good spot for photos without shooting into the sun so didn't bother.
