Aircraft hire on the Sunshine Coast

Hi All

I'm heading up to QLD to visit family in a couple of weeks and wanting to take a couple of them up for a bit of a scenic while I'm up there and was wondering who was hiring aircraft up that way these days.

I'm after something like a 206 or Cherokee Six, or failing that a 182.

My preference is for Maroochydore, however it looks like it's only ADFA up there, has Fogarty's closed down?

I remember seeing an ad for someone hiring some aircraft out of Caloundra a little while ago in the aviation trader, but cannot find the ad on the website now. Not sure what QAS has on offer, or whether they hire out their equipment at all?

Any help pointing me in the right direction of operators or private owner up that way would be greatly appreciated.

You could try ADFA at Caboolture. Pretty sure they private hire. Last time I was there they had 172RG, 182 and 210. Phone: 07-5428 1195 ask for Bryan.

Yeah Fogs closed down a couple of years ago.
ADFA has C172/Arrow/P68/ The C182 (G1000) can be pvt hire but has more insurance requirements.
