Question for old Spantax and Aviaco pilots

Hello,

Can anybody tell me what propeller planes Spantax and Aviaco used on their routes from Barcelona to the Balearics (LEPA/LEIB) during the mid to late sixties? I thought they were using CV440's and DC4's but I have come across an old photo of a DC7 also. Don't know for sure if that plane was used on that route, though.

Thx for that. I don't remember the DC3's but I do remember flying on DC4's and 6's to Palma and Ibiza. I was unsure about the DC7. Why would they use a long-range airliner on a 100NM trip?
