BBC are reporting a crash today or yesterday with several fatalities in Peru---several British tourists and Pilots.Has anyone any more news?

Apparently a Cessna 406.
I don't wish to be picky with the OP but the crash site near Nazca is about 300 miles from Lima. If an aircraft crashed in Liverpool we would not say it crashed in London.

A photo on the BBC website shows a single engine job, looks like a 206 to me.

Seems a 206 would not comply with local rules.

The last time I looked, the 185 was a six seater.

If it was the 260hp version, it would be of marginal performance for 6 adults; OK with 300hp version.
