4 ship formation (+1). Heading 300 deg, could be Typhoons. Very loud climbing out to the West. Overhead EMA 1850z. Bit later 1900z 2 ship heading west 1 mile abeam, loud! 8000'ish Mrs says they are always flying at this time they are very loud (heavy) Anybody have any ideas? are they from Cottesmore or Wittering? Very loud like heavy 747-400

The LIC corridor runs East/West over EMA at FL140, heavily used by the military-anything from Tucanos to F15's to VC10's-but the harriers from Cottesmore are frequently overhead.
