Hi,

Would anyone be able to suggest training centers for a B1900 C type rating.
I have seen a couple online, but they seem to offer only 1900D type ratings.

Is there a difference between the C and D type rating, or do they fall under the same umbrella.

Appreciate your input

I have flown the A (only one was produced), B,C,D and E (military version, actually was originally the C) all on the same type rating. We did have to do a short (maybe three hours) difference course from the C to the D. Flight Safety in LGA had a C sim years ago but I don't know if they still have it. Ask the Gulfstream guys over on Flightinfo.com where they train. I think they still fly the Beech. Have fun. It is a good, strong and safe airplane.

FlightSafety at LaGuardia have both a C and a D sim and offer (as you'd expect) excellent training though not cheap. It's a single pilot a/c so you don't need a sim buddy unless you're happy to get a multi-crew endorsement.. It can be a handful single crew unless you have considerable experience... just finding your way around the Beech checklist can be a task in itself. Make as much use of the autopilot as you can.
