Hello all.

Any ideas where I can buy an hour in a 737-3/400 sim at short notice?

I have tried Oxford at Oxford, but their sim is fully booked for MCC/JOC

The sims at Oxford are not proper 737 sims anyway.

Trying OAA Gatwick or OAA Manch.
I think the boeing company have them at Gatwick too.

They are designed to be like a 734 (think they are ex-united cockpits), but they are FNPTs, can't be used for official 737 training etc..

Good for a MCC though.

Thats thrue they are FNPT2's, and I think they are logged that way in the logbook. Can't be used for a type rating or anything, certain things are missing, like, there is LNAV but no VNAV etc. But the biggest difference is theres some sort of stump in the system, on rotation, you really have to pull back hard to get things going, no matter how fast your speeding down the runway. If you then go to actual 737 sims, if you pull back the way you get used to in these sims, you'd take the tail off entirely!! Not a problem though, you can easily adjust, they are good for MCC and JOC.
