Indian DGCA FATA Extended till 2015

Just heard from a top management of one of the LCC`s that the DGCA has approved the extension of the FATA from 1 year to 5 years last Sept 13 2010.:D
If this is true then FATA would be until July 31 2015. However no circular has come out yet.

Also heard similar from a fairly reliable source however they now need to address this Indian Med requirement where foreign pilots will have to complete bi-annual Indian Medicals along with their own ATPL Meds.

This would mean 4 medicals a year for most of us!
