When I try to open a PDF on a site Chrome opens it then only downloads maybe 1 or 2 first couple of pages but open in Firefox ok

I always prefer to save PDFs and open them in a proper PDF reader, rather than have them open in the web browser. It's just a matter of using the right tool for the job.
