Does anybody know the payscale of Thai Airways pilots?
i cant find it at any site...

744/346 Captain after 30 years in the compnay is making around 250.000 THB (39 THB = 1 EUR), no benefits(except staff travel), really weak pension scheme, no private health insurance, take out 30% for the Thai IRS.

Anyway they only take nationals, they even don't take females, you will try to apply?

I thought it was one of THE asian companies with some good benefits...
i was currious, because i cant find anything about their payscale.

futhermore, i wont be able to apply, since i am not Thai...
i thought that nowadays it actually was getting more open and they had some pilots on expatcontracts... but i can be wrong

There are quite a few Thai expat pilots nowadays. The marget is getting open but not fully open yet. We also can't apply for some jobs because they are restricted by "JAA license and EU passport". It's fair enough I think.

Not in Bangkok Airways and definitly not in Thai Inter. Not recruiting in Bangkok either I dropped in a few weeks ago and I am JAA PIC on one of there Types and used too drink beer with one of the Captains.

In the early '90s TG had contracted a number SAS pilots to operate some of their DC-10-30ER flights.
