Nice shots, thanks for posting them. Does anyone know if the Jet Provost 1 XD693/G-AOBU has a current permit? I have not seen it flying for years.

The permit expired March 2007.

Farnborough 2004, the last time I saw it fly.:)

Batchy, thanks. I "nearly" replaced my Mk1 Nikkor 18-200 with a Tamron 18-270. Not a bad lens, but not as sharp as the Nikon [with a D90]
Still got the Tamron, going cheeeep[ish] :ok:

Great pics, as usual, Gary. :ok: But anyone know what's with the blue cowlings/nacelles on the PBY? :confused: Non-standard, n'est ce pas?
