I know this has been talked about before but nothing has been clearly stated yet.......

Would any Wizzair Captains and Senior First Officers please let me know how much your take home pay is during an average month, including sector pay, after TAX in Euro? For lets say a 1st year, type rated and experienced A320 FO or CPT.

Does your base make a difference on your pay?

Cheers and many thanks!

There is no straightforward answer to this because it depends which contract you are on. Also the tax will vary depending what is you country of domicile (for tax purposes). All Wizz pilots pay income tax in Switzerland but at a very low rate. If however your home is the UK you will also pay UK Tax by self assessment, but due to the double taxation agreement, HMRC will let you off any Swiss tax paid so you don't get taxed twice. Local pilots (E. Europeans) are mostly on a local contract and have a different system again. The best way to find out is to call one of the two agencies that Wizz uses (Storm or Confair) and ask them. Generally it doesn't matter which base you are posted to, you will get the same base salary. There is one exception where an accommodation allowance is paid to assist with high rental prices at that base.

but perhaps what we are interested in is the package ... guessing that a few of us have been approached .. personal guess is circa 4K per month take home with an unstable roster non commutable etc etc ..

I had a busy summer, I'm a year 2 Captain.

This months pay was just over 8000€. I paid 800€ Swiss tax. Therefore, I receive 7250€. As Wizzaird said, UK tax remains to be paid. Which I put £1500 aside for every month - on top of the Swiss tax.

So, about £5000 after all stoppages. But it depends on lots of factors:

Base, contract, prior experience, training pay, management contracts, CRMI pay etc etc....

The company tries to offer a commuting contract of 6/4 or 6/1/6/7.

SFO, average monthly salary is @4200 euro Gross, including 1200 euro housing allowance, from this you must pay the UK tax so say 1200 euro. this leaves 3000 euro. At the current exchange rate this means £2250. This is based in one of the better paid bases, most wizz bases you need to remove the 1200 euro allowance.

and the first 5 months you pay 1000€ which will be repaid after 2 y of service.

Accomodation:
How does that work? You pay your hotel yourself or you rent a flat? How can you do that in a country you don't unterstand one word?

Are they hiring? If so, what are the requirements?
Thanks

Both. Some people use a hotel (generally much cheaper than uk), or use your (very) friendly local cabin crew to assist with translation for a rental property:E
