We've noticed there has been no TAF issued for several days for SUMU, but there is a METAR

Can anyone shed any light on this, and if SUMU is still open for business, as we can't find anything in the NOTAMS.

Did a flight to Montevideo on the 7th. Still there.:ok:
Also had TAF and Metarīs and Notamīs.

Did you try the nooa site?

thank you for that.

We understand that the staff at the weather office may be taking industrial action? So there is no official TAF being issued, but the airport staff (ATC?) are prodicing the METAR, and the field is still open.

Can any one confirm this pease?

The last TAF on the NOAA (or any other) site was generated at 15:20 UTC on the 6th, as set out below from the NOAA web site:
