Over on the Rotorheads forum there is a thread seeking to determine the whereabouts of a number of helicopters from the 1970s. The latest search is for a Jet Ranger originally registered in Germany and then in the UK as G-CHOC. A search of the UK CAA G-INFO website reveals that G-CHOC was sold to South Africa and registered as ZS-HJH. A search of the SA register shows that this is still a current registration in the name of "ANCOM AVIATION LTD".
The trail goes cold there and I was wondering whether any of you frequenting this forum may be able to shed some light on the current status of ZS-HJH, in particular its whereabouts and any pictures.
