Spending money after CPL

I am a recent member but have been reading PPRuNe for a long time. I am intersted in joining a pilot training course after doing my degree and obtain a CPL. I don't mind spending the large expenses required for it but I would like to know if, after getting CPL, will it get me a guaranteed job or will I have to spend more to gain flying hours. Also if there are jobs guaranteed, what different jobs can a newbie with a CPL go for? And what all do I have to do to get in as a commercial pilot? I'm really confused and I really really want to pursue pilot training.

Very few (if any) guaranteed jobs after training. If you take a look in the interviews & Jobs forum the threads there will give you a good feel for the jobs / lack of jobs out there at the moment.
