Bad Landlord

Just a quick post warning people about our old landlord. Lots of problems getting things fixed before and after moving in. Then when we moved out, it took over a month to get our deposit back. This was mostly because he was trying to charge us for fixing problems that were inherent in the apartment.

I won't name names in case he tries to claim defamation.

The apartment was in DB (don't worry we are now in town), high floor Woodgreen Court.

Guys, always stop paying rent in for the one / two months before leaving so as to avoid problems getting deposit back. Ditto withhold for problems he would not fix that you paid for yourself. Keep correspondence and receipts and let him sue you.
