Not sute if this is the correct forum? I hear that the farm strip at Slinfold, Sussex, is now up for sale and that developers are sitting on the sidelines to build on the site! Does anyone know if this is true?

Not sure about that, the previous owner wanted to store all his mega expensive cars in the hangar space. Last I heard from the much earlier owners daughter was that the airstrip was mentioned as part of the sale.

I do hope an air minded person buys Slinfold. Didn't a Robinson Redwing fly from there years ago? Remember John Pothecary rebuilding it at Old Sarum some years ago. Fondled it but never flown it! :)

Hi Ridge Runner,

I think the guys on the Private Flying Forum would be interested in your news.

Now where's that lotto ticket?

Flew out of there eons ago when Jack Miller owned it in his Auster G-AHHU. Wish I could afford it!
