Forgive me, but I'm having trouble finding a supplier of black nomex flight suits (not immersion suits) in France or the UK... PAS use them, and memory suggests that Bristows have something similar but in very dark blue.

If anyone can put me in touch with a reliable supplier, I'd be grateful.

Try 'Xinteractive Clothing' but caution, the black nomex has a tendency to fade and become discoloured over time.

Try the folowing:

Beaufort do the Civilian MK16 flying suit in dark navy or black.

Also try Albatross off Denmark thats who Bristows use.

Benco off N.Ireland they do a very good flying suit based on the MK16 in Dark Navy or BLack but they cut them very neat so go at least 2 sizes bigger than what your use too.

We're looking at some new suits and jackets at the moment and the best I've seen have been the Benco stuff..

I did away with flying suits a few years ago, and now wear pants and shirt..more comfortable and certainly look better than wearing a "grow bag".

Pants available in dark navy from Fire Cache (http://www.firecache.com/products.asp?dept=21)

I personally wear the "stationwear (http://www.firecache.com/prodinfo.asp?number=10.1400)" pants. The "advanced" are a little thick and are generally designed for fire line use.

For the shirt I wear a USFS yellow nomex, but you can also buy different colors. For outer wear, I have a nomex dragonfur wind jacket (http://www.firecache.com/prodinfo.asp?number=10.9410).
