Today, in a move to further streamline ATC phraseology and ensure accuracy, it has been announced that Polar Air Cargo's callsign, "Polar" has been changed. Effective immediately, the callsign will be changed to "Blajogevich" or "BLAGO." (IATA code BLABLA)
This move, according to unnamed officials, is being done to bring accuracy and transparency to the common ATC phraseology.
"Let's be honest," said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity. "They don't land in the Arctic, and are better known for flights of fancy, delusional statements that are on the record and then denied, attacks on those who have supported them, and generally being so far out of touch with reality that Elvis denies being sighted on their property."
Representatives of Elvis did not return repeated calls asking for a statement. When pressed, they only said, "Mr. Presley has no plans of going near them...they're nuts."
