Hi Guys,
Sorry for speaking in English; but I will need some information about airports around Marseille and Bordeux. I am ferrying a Cessna 172 from the Middle East to the Uk and was thinking about refuelling around Marseille and overnight around Bordeux. Can anyone gives us information about the need of using handling agencies in these stops. Is it possible for us to put down, refuel and leave? Is there a general Aviation parking lot in any of these airports? Any additional information or advice will be greatly appreciated!!

Cheers

Not sure what you want : cheapest possible or best/fast service ? both are not really compatible.
Bordeaux (LFBD) for instance has a handling service wich is very good, Own Parking at GA + landing fe around 26 eur + handling around 50 EUR. handling will arrange refueling, bring you with a minibus to airport hotel, pick you up, and make your flight plan for you.
Cheapest is to land on an aeroclub field nearby, (plenty of them) no landing fees, but you'll have to arrange everything yourself, if you have no TOTAL card , refueling outside week ends might be a problem check before.(Tel numbers on the VAC charts downloadable from SIA web site.)
